MAG TEAM REVIEW:

This MGS MAG/ER status report covers the period:
31 August through 6 September 2003 (DOY's 243-249)

MAG/ER instrument temperatures, currents, and voltages are within nominal ranges.

A gif plot of the instrument parameters for the week is located at:
http://mgs-mager.gsfc.nasa.gov/status/sr03243-249.html

Previous status reports for the magnetometer and electron
reflectometer instruments can be selected for viewing at:
http://mgs-mager.gsfc.nasa.gov/status/index.html

The plotted quantities are:
MCP_V-->micro-channel plate voltage
A_MA--->controller current

A_TEMP--->controller temperature
ER_TEMP-->ER temperature
IB_TEMP-->inboard temperature
OB_TEMP-->outboard temperature

There were no instrument commands radiated this period.

The first large (~1.5 hr) gap in DOY 244 is due to limited DSN coverage
(mapping sequence 310). However, according to DSN status reports, the second
large (1.75 hr) gap is due to DSN problems.

The large (~1 hr) gap in DOY 245 is due to limited DSN coverage
(mapping sequence 310).

The small (~30 min) gap at the end of DOY 248 is unexplained.
