MAG TEAM REVIEW:

This MGS MAG/ER status report covers the period: 
21-27 August 2005 (DOYs 233-239)

MAG/ER instrument temperatures, currents, and voltages are within nominal ranges.

The plotted quantities are:
MCP_V-->micro-channel plate voltage
A_MA--->controller current

A_TEMP--->controller temperature
ER_TEMP-->ER temperature
IB_TEMP-->inboard temperature
OB_TEMP-->outboard temperature

There were no instrument commands radiated this period.

The spacecraft unexpectedly entered safe-mode during the morning of DOY 238.
Investigation into the cause is continuing.

According to DSN status reports, gaps on DOY 233 are due to limited DSN coverage.

The large (~1 hr) gap on DOY 235 is unexplained.

Gaps on DOY 237-239 are assumed due to the spacecraft entering safe-mode.

The slight temperature variations in IB_TEMP and OB_TEMP on DOY 237
were due to a MOC CPROTO event.
