MAG TEAM REVIEW:

This MGS MAG/ER status report covers the period:
2-8 October 2005 (DOYs 275-281)

MAG/ER instrument temperatures, currents, and voltages are within nominal ranges.

A gif plot of the instrument parameters for the week is located at:
http://mgs-mager.gsfc.nasa.gov/status/sr05275-281.html

Previous status reports for the magnetometer and electron
reflectometer instruments can be selected for viewing at:
http://mgs-mager.gsfc.nasa.gov/status/index.html

The plotted quantities are:
MCP_V-->micro-channel plate voltage
A_MA--->controller current

A_TEMP--->controller temperature
ER_TEMP-->ER temperature
IB_TEMP-->inboard temperature
OB_TEMP-->outboard temperature

There were no instrument commands radiated this period.

The slight temperature variations in IB_TEMP and OB_TEMP on DOYs 278, 279,
and 280 were due to MOC CPROTO events.

The last 4 hours of the last gap on DOY 275 are due to DSN problems.

The middle of the last gap on DOY 276 is due to DSN problems.

The first few hours of the first gap on DOY 277 are due to DSN problems.

There was a problem with the playback of recorded data in spacecraft
command sequence MM462. The problem was resolved with the uplink of MM463
on DOY 278. All gaps not mentioned above are assumed due to the playback
anomaly.
