MAG TEAM REVIEW:

This MGS MAG/ER status report covers the period:
10-16 October, 1999 (DOY's 283-289)

MAG/ER instrument temperatures, currents, and voltages are within nominal
ranges.

A gif plot of the instrument parameters for the week is located at:
http://blaze.gsfc.nasa.gov/dsr/sr99283-289.gif

The plotted quantities are:
MCP_V-->micro-channel plate voltage
A_MA--> controller current

A_TEMP-->controller temperature
ER_TEMP-->ER temperature
IB_TEMP-->inboard temperature
OB_TEMP-->outboard temperature

No MAG/ER NIPC's were radiated during this period.

There is a several hour data gap at the beginning of day of year 283.

The bad A_MA value is due to a zero-filled packet.

The IB average temperature was unchanged and the OB average
temperature rose 0.2 degrees this week due to the decreasing Mars-Sun
distance.
